Dog Parks in New York!dog parks in new york

We research great dog parks to go with your pets in New York!

dog parks in new yorkHere is a great map that shows where all the dog parks are... and the hotels nearest them! Click to open! In NYC, it’s best to know that there are certain rules for dogs at the parks: dogs on leash, dogs off-leash, and dog runs.

Be sure to research ahead to find out when the off-leash hours are at the dog park of your choosing so Spot can have a good run-around!  Also, make sure your pups are up-to-date on their vaccinations – no one wants their dogs get other dogs sick!

We selected the best dog parks/run – but we know there are more

Dog Run in New York:

Bryant Park

Bryant Park is a 4 acre green space behind the NY Public Library's main branch.

It is located between Fifth and Sixth Avenues and between 40th and 42nd Streets in Midtown Manhattan. Verrry popular park."Of all the parks in all the boroughs, I would have to say this one really, really captures what New York City is about. The range of people you see.. its staggering. Especially in the winter season, when the Ice Rink is up and all the shops set up there.. its really a great moment you feel like you're a part of. I've lived in the city all my life, and if I ever want to connect back to the full feeling of being part of the fabric of this city, I go here for it."

Pets: Walk your dog, on a leash and not on the grass, and clean up after it.
